A Beautiful Day...

magedragonfireAh, life is good. I don't remember being nearly this at-peace with myself in... In... My, but it's been a long time. ^^; Being shattered does that to a person, I suppose - but, for now, all the voices in my head have learned to get along. Good stuff.
Of course, things here at home are kinda strange at the moment... The rest of my family is all half- or wholly-depressed because one of Dad's closest friends died on the weekend (over which I feel sorta iffy about - something to do with a proclamation I made on the Equinox), but I'm positively-extremely cheerful. ^^;
And wishing that I could be at school right now, even though I don't have to be there.
Ah, but it's officially spring - the daffodils are blooming, and the cherry trees continue to blossom, and yesterday was an absolutely gorgeous day. Sunshiney, warm, and with a very nice lil' breeze to it... It made very nice weather to walk out to the MTF in, yes.
And, spring be the season of new life, of new beginnings, of the return of the light.
How fitting. ^^

The first comment by danly/OSM, there, made me stare dumbfounded at the computer screen for a full good two minutes (as I don't believe Dan has been around campus enough as of late to know of recent developments), followed by an entire-body blush and nervous laughter. Took me a few minutes more to recover enough to threaten them again. ^^;;;

Monday, we inhabited the couch again after Calculus - gods, but that class is much too early in the morning! - and spent most of the wait for CMPT curled up and purring. At one point, Ryan came into the common room - and as much as the kid is annoying, he has some good uses. After taking a look at us, he grinned a tad and asked if we were 'finally going out, now'.
Well, that was bringing things a little forwards, as the issue hadn't been discussed. It was only worse that there were about five or six other people in the room at the same time.
Trav looked at me, I looked at him - and, somehow, we came to a spontaneous conclusion.
So.
It's official.
^__________^ And now it be known why I'm so joy-full.
So we ended up spending the rest of the day together, puttering about in the MTF, cursing the ACS for crashing and not letting us print out our CMPT homework until fifteen minutes before the due-time, and getting duties assigned to us at the end-of-semester-social-meeting. And, partially because of him, I managed to miss the last bus back home, and had to call the folks to get a ride. ^^;
And then we spent the night playing Tetrifast, and he gave me a starting hand in using Unix.
I've taken the first steps to absolute perfection! Yay!
But I should go get ready for work now... Bah. *shakes fist in general direction of anything donut-shaped*
