Two things to do here now, an explanation and a rant.

I realize that some may not understand my last post at all, and it is a little difficult to puzzle out unless you've read both RPG World and the Dragonriders of Pern books. ^^; The main character there is one of my RP charas, Luka, and her dragon, brown Choth, and firelizard, white Boro. Luka's a geeky, mechanical-liking girl, complete with thick glasses and many wrenches. With the events of today's comic in RPGW, I wanted to do a tribute to the character Reka, and figured that it would be best to do such with Luka - seeing as how I think both of them were probably inspired by the same source, Chrono Trigger's Lucca. ^^;;

Now for the rant.

I just got my Dogwood - my high school diploma, that is - in the mail from school. That's a good thing, I suppose, but the stuff that came with it is what bothers me. Honestly, HOW DAMNED HARD IS IT TO SPELL MY NAME?!
It's not a difficult task for most, but honestly, when you're surrounded by morons I suppose that makes things harder. *twitch* On both my congratulatory certificate thing from my local MP or MLA or whatever AND the school's list of phone numbers and shit of all the grads, it was spelled wrong. I suppose I shouldn't get worked up over it, but it just pisses me off, ESPECIALLY AS I'VE CORRECTED THE SCHOOL A THOUSAND TIMES ON THE SAME ERROR. Assholes.

Also got the supplemental thing for the yearbook, which contains all of our pictures from grad and stuff in it. Very nice and all, except I only got my picture in once - in the damned cast and crew photo of Nurse Jane Goes to Hawaii. Didn't even get a little recognition, like a name to go along with photo. Directors can't get any credit any more, can they?
It's just really shitty that they couldn't even get a photo of me in my gown, looking all pretty and stuff. I NEVER look all pretty and stuff, and hardly any of the people at the dinner/dance recognized me without a second look. But not, throughout the entire five or six pages of photos, can I find myself - aside from the big one that has all of us in it, and there I'm too tiny/fuzzy to count.
I did notice, however, that quite a few people managed to show up half a dozen times each, namely the 'popular' jerks and bitches that make up most of the yearbook committee. There's only about two pages of the thing devoted to people outside of their damned clique, if you went and separated all the pictures, which is really quite unfair, not just to me, but to most of the grads this year.

People are fucking morons. And some wonder why I'm an antisocial geek who hides behind her computer...
