I very likely wouldn't have to be disappointed so much.
But then life would be so boring!
What brought this on, hm? Eh, just the arrival of my sister's Christmas presents - they're always late, thus leading us to dub them 'second Christmas'es due to their normal enormity of the number of gifts.
Anywhoo, she generally manages to get quite a few nice things, even if there are a few things that don't fit right, or I never use...
But this time around, not so much. Seems like both things of pants she got for me might be too large, the other clothing mundane enough, shoes that I won't be able to wear 'til the rain and cold stops, a necklace that's rather redundant as I have one that's much nicer to wear now (thanks again, m'dear), and a journal. Also rather redundant, for reasons as such as the one you're reading right now.
I never write anything down on paper that I intend to keep... With my wordiness, I always end up tiring out my hand rather quickly. XD Besides, papers and books just tend to get lost around me.
The journal, however, indicates it's specifically meant for words of passion... XD Interesting, that might be - except for the fact that the only place where I write such stuff is locked away tighter than the flimsy lock on that book might protect, or even an encryption code in a blog.
I'm afraid no one's figured out how to truly crack a human mind yet, mine in particular.
