Mmm. Stress.
Nov. 13th, 2003 10:28 pm...Although it WAS stressless for a little while, anyway. XD
Got my essay finished, miraculously. Also got Calculus homework finished. Got let go early from English tutorial. The day was going rather well (except for that I had to have bloodwork done in the morning, but that's still not so bad), and I had a nice little hour of stress-free fun - until I got my second midterm back in discrete math.
I did a whole lot worse than I thought I did. I had imagined that my mark was gonna be somewhere in the ballpark of 65-70... But I got 50 on the nose. Me friends all did quite well, too, which just made me groan to myself and sit back in my chair and want to break down into frustrated tears - but of course, I couldn't do that there.
So I did that when I got back to the refuge of my car.
But it's all fine now, sorta...
Now we've got three more assignments due next week (one a big one for CMPT) - and then finals approaching very very quickly.
The way I see it, I'm going to have to spend all of my energy studying for MACM and programming, and hope that my Calculus knowledge and English writing holds out for my other two exams. If I don't make a B average, I can't collect on the other half of my entrance scholarship - and that'll not only really disappoint my parents, but it's gonna make things difficult when it comes to the tuition issue next semester.
It's just - not - good, coming to university and finding out how stupid you really are.
