Ho-hum. Back to the daily grind...
Jan. 4th, 2004 09:05 pmWhee. So I haven't updated in a little while again... But meh. Stuff has happened, again, and I probably meant to blog some of it, but I can't remember what it was now. ^^: Silly me.
Been driving the folks crazy wif me new piano books. ^^ Haven't put them down while I've been near the keyboard... Which is probably a bad thing. Haven't practiced my actual pieces since vacation started. ^^;;; My teacher's gonna kill me...
...No, wait! I have another week! XD I forgot, we get three weeks' break from lessons, hehe.
Been diddling around with Furcadian Dragonspeak - the programming language that makes the dream-scenarios work properly. All cause and effect stuff, mostly. Paline, one of the patrons (matrons?) of the Feral Haven was having trouble with a dream she was revamping; doors not working properly and such. I took a look at it, having never worked with the language before, and figured out what was wrong relatively easily. ^^;; Guess I really am a programmer at heart... Shitty though I might be at it.
It's finally looking something like winter here - something it hasn't done in six or seven years. Snow actually fell for over 48 hours without a break, and about 10 inches accumulated on the ground. Today it never got above 0 degrees, hehe... Normally it never goes below. ^^; Lows down to -15. Mmmm, I do so love the cold.
Icewing: As do I, arrr!
Sword of Mana is bringing back such nostalgic memories of Final Fantasy Adventure, 'tis really quite unreal... And I squeed quite well when I saw Lil' Cactus for the first time. ^^;
Joined a private server to play Ragnarok Online on. Gravity's screwed me over muchly with my Bunneh being lost, so I decided not to renew for that, but still need a RO-fix. ^^
Got my books for classes (*shudder*) on Friday. Even though I only needed three new books - two of them were used, actually, and my two math books I could use over again - it still ended up costing over $400. >_< Not good, no.
And I don't quite know what I'm going to do about tuition... I have the money to pay for it, but it'll totally decimate my laptop fund in the process. *weep* I don't think my scholarship is going to be renewed for this semester, so I'll have to break into my other money much sooner than I had planned on...
*sigh*
But, yes, classes start tomorrow. At least I'll get to see everyone again. ^^ Maybe I should drop by the IRC channel tonight...
...After all...
