Exploit-ation Now
Mar. 27th, 2004 05:45 pmYeah, so. ^^; The week's been fairly boring - although I found out that I did NOT fail my MACM midterm - 11 out of 20. ^^
And Travis and I occupied the couch for the better part of 4 hours on Thursday, but meh. ^^;
Friday was supposed to have been Shell-Bash - the aforementioned party at rez. Andy, Trav, and I went to some sort of residence-council meeting (where I indirectly led to one of the CAs tying for an award without even knowing who he was ^^;), got our free-admission stampings for the party - and laughed at the people trying to set up tarps over the outdoor-beer-garden, as it was raining. The silly things kept falling down, or letting loose waterfalls, or other such pain in the ass activities. ^^;;;
Between the end of the meeting and the start of the party, though, there was a couple of hours that needed killing. We went up to Trav's room, downloaded a few eps of The Daily Show off of Andy's laptop, and proceeded to watch the Mar. 17th edition. Really quite funny. XD
Andy left to go to something after that, so Trav and I hung about and tried to watch more of the show. Tried, being the vital word, there. ^^; We gave up halfway through the Mar. 23rd episode.
Needless to say, we didn't make it to the party, either. XDD
Anywhoo, I didn't get home until 4:30-ish today... Missed all of the nonsense with the funeral, thankfully.
And the parents have yet to question me fully about how my night was. ^^;; Surprised, and hoping that they'll completely forget to. I dun really want to have to lie through my teeth - I do have some moral standards, but they go flying out the window when they need to. ^^;;;
Oh, almost forgot:
Hehe, confirming what was already known. XD

</td><td valign="top">You are a geek. Good for you! Considering the endless complexity of the universe, as well as whatever discipline you happen to be most interested in, you'll never be bored as long as you have a good book store, a net connection, and thousands of dollars worth of expensive equipment. Assuming you're a technical geek, you'll be able to afford it, too. If you're not a technical geek, you're geek enough to mate with a technical geek and thereby get the needed dough. Dating tip: Don't date a geek of the same persuasion as you. You'll constantly try to out-geek the other.</td>
