Hm. Overshot the monthly blog a bit.
Oct. 8th, 2005 11:33 pmOh well. XD
School's back in swing; already been through assignments out the ying-yang and a midterm, too. I really do need to find out when my geography midterm and assignment-due-date are, though...
Work has been the same as usual - fairly standard, except for small incidents here and there such as the computer deciding that it was going to die yesterday and not wake up. Or something. I haven't got full details yet on what actually happened. It was a monumental pain in the ass to try and fix things today, though, and about the only thing I got accomplished was fixing the printer and getting it to display something other than 16-bit colour. The fingerprint timeclock, ERCS, dial-up connection, and network between the front and back computers are still screwed. Out of those problems, maybe one I know how to fix. The others... pfft.
But.
I can't seem to remember anything else monumental that happened in those terms - oh, there was another week of Gotcha (except we had really lame froshies, and only two or three decided to hunt anyone), everyone keeps teasing me about my Nintendogs (and I really think Dan may be out to kill them T.T), and my campaign speech of DOOM failed spectacularly, but it's all not worth speaking much of.
'Cause I can't remember much, really.
As for more recently...
I managed to re-open Eternal Forest, but we're still struggling for members. Got a couple more decent ones tonight - and one that was decidedly undecent - but the situation is still a little iffy.
Oh well. Hopefully, once we get a few more transfer males in, we'll be able to have a flight, and then start using the eggy goodness to attract candidates. And then the first plot can start!
I'm just pleased with myself that I managed to drag Dessy back into RP. Last time around with those two was fun; why should this time be any different?
In other RP news: kitsu-Rydia has a mate! XD It's about time for the poor gal. She was beginning to think that she'd be forever scaring away th' dudes. Of course, I half-blame that on Rai for not having Trent move on her sooner - but nooo, he had to go get himself in that mess with Aysil instead. Serves 'im right.
Hehe.
The parents are gone again for a bit - have been since Wednesday, won't be back 'til sometime late next week, apparently. This time it's down to Florida for the small-sugar-conference - and to visit Stace and Jimi, of course.
And, as usual, while the parents are away, the mouse played. There was a party here last night of which I didn't have to deal with much, which was good. Apparently there was a non-paltry amount of rum and marijuana consumed. Both the toilet and sink in the downstairs bathroom had been defiled, however, and the overall mess in the kitchen and living room was... really rather disconcerting. Thankfully Sean cleaned most of it today.
I, however, still had to deal with the hot-tub - I think the party goers managed to suck up all the chlorine in the thing into their brains, or something. They also ate nearly all the food in the house, except for the meats, and probably would have eaten them too if they weren't raw.
Needless to say, I had to go grocery shopping today. >.>
Mom's Berger lamp, it turns out, is really good at getting rid of nasty smells, though.
I've also been DDRing more frequent as of late - Extreme 2 came out recently, and I just got it this past week. The song selection's much better than that of Extreme - Be Lovin, Daikenkai, Candy<3, Heaven is a '57 Metallic Grey... All sortsa good stuff.
The next thing I have to unlock, though, is probably Sakura. Hooray 300 BPM!
(The way to unlock stuff is also more novel than in any other game yet - kinda like Mission Mode, but not. It's not too bad, really, instead of just poking around and playing things repeatedly until you unlock more.)
Now then. Apparently I have a bath to go soak in, so I shall be off - and check in in another month or two, hehe. XD
