Ugh. Work. 5 AM.

magedragonfireYuss, I did indeed get up at 5 AM today... To be at work at 6 AM... Luckily, working around the smell of coffee tends to make one wake up.
Unluckily, I was the only person (out of four total!) at the shop today without anything gimped up about me. Out of the two other counter girls, one has a bad back due to breaking said back in the past, and can't do any heavy lifting or stressful stuff, and the other managed to pull a muscle in her neck over the past few days. The baker, too, was afflicted by a crushed disk in HIS back...
And thus, guess who was left to do all of the hard, painful jobs? I polished the windows 'til they shone (and my arm felt like a brick - goddamn, there are too many windows in that fzcking shop!) and hurled heavy dripping garbage bags (that felt like those shotput weight things) over very tall gates because we couldn't find the key to get into the dumpster enclosure. Until after I had hurled them.

I keep telling myself it's all for the Laptop Fund (TM), but sometimes...
Oh, but I did learn the secret to getting good tips today. Having certain assets does make the job easier - and exploiting them isn't COMPLETELY whoring oneself out... That's what I'll tell myself, anywhoo.
Eh. Anywhoo, got home after two, and proceeded to laze around doing nothing for the day. Until about 3-odd hours ago, when I decided it would probably be a good idea to start studying for my Java midterm tomorrow. Hm. Yeah, probably, considering I had to learn how to properly implement/call classes and methods... Should probably go back to studying and imprint it once more, or else I'll forget it all.
And I still haven't started on my essay yet. Guess what I'll be doing all Tuesday? Thank ye, o soldiers who died so that we get this holiday and I can write my essay without interruption!
...Y'know, I'd consider using that line as an MSN name, except I think it'd probably get me a few boos from random people. Even though my own grandpas were/are both veterans. Meh.
Now I'm just tired, even though it's only 9:30-something... Early bed sounds like a good thing.

I would, but my university decided that since they're offering us a long thanksgiving vacation, they should carry on with classes on Veteran's Day XO SONSOFTHEIRMOTHERS!!!

Can involve bending over to get the donuts in front of a nice glass window we have, or trying to touch your elbows together behind your back while greeting them at the till. Y'know.
