There will be pictures, undoubtedly, sooner or later.
Marm, though, I think, is not very happy. Staring, mostly, and growling. We've put kitty into mom's bathroom, but Marm keeps prowling outside - and on occasions where she's been able to peek in, has been staring relentlessly, and growling a little when I pick her (Marm, not the kitten) up to comfort her.
Kitten is mostly black with bits of orange, and kind of long furred, and kind of scruffy, but cute nonetheless. She (switched genders, again, or something) just needs a name, now.
