Saaaave me...
Nov. 29th, 2003 05:28 pm*hides* Exams are next week, starting Friday. Ebil!
But then again, Sword of Mana is coming out Monday... Which is a good thing. ^^ 'Bout time a new Mana game came out, yuss-yuss.
Been another busy week fer me. MACM and Calculus homework due on the same day (Thursday, it was, and I didn't bother to start 'til Wednesday night) is very bad. ^^; So bad, in fact, that I didn't even really try on the Calc after running out of time. Got only one question done - but I didn't really care. It was the last assignment, and I've gotten perfects on nearly all of the other ones, so I figured that I could slip somewheres without a big penalty.
$10 went missing from my wallet sometime between Tuesday and Thursday. Guess who's likely to blame? He's got it coming tomorrow, though... No way he can escape from it now, and then it'll be $500 - and a GBA SP - that he owes me. Grrr... He's so indeedly lucky that I'm too lazy to press charges.
Must figure out my electives sometime between now and Thursday - my appointment to register is then. I know I'm taking Math 152, CMPT 150, and MACM 201 (*shudder*), but I haven't decided if I want to take one or two other courses yet, and what they'll be. Maybe chem something-or-other, maybe something in theatre. Depends.
Friday was fun, though. Ended up staying 'til five, even though classes for me ended at 10:30. Max had his new laptop - and thus was deservedly shunned for a little while. He was the first of our group to get one, y'see, and thus Travis and I decided that he needed shunning. Eventually, though, the pull of laptop was too much, and I borrowed it to play Nethack for a couple of games. ^^; Travis thusly decided to shun me - although changed it to snubbing later to give it some variety.
Wouldn't tell me what I could do to be unshunned/snubbed, either - only said that if he told me, I would most likely be inflicting bodily harm on him. Heh. I can think of what it might be, in that case, but I still wanna find out for certain. ^^; I don't kill people all the time for making jokes such as about that, heh!
After Max left, we two inhabited the second-squishiest couch for the rest of the afternoon, and growled at all who tried to disturb us to take the middle seat. Three-seat couches really are made for two people, yuss.
Later on that night, I went to the plays up at FHSS. Two one-acts, there were - one was about a Chinese mother, daughter, and son (who was deaf), the other about four women preparing 'light refreshments' after one of the gals' father's funeral. Both were good - Johnny did a wonderful job as the deaf son, and the funeral-play was quite hilarious. Never thought Dani would make such a good old woman - and drunk, at that!
Saw so many of mah old friends there, too - both in lower grades, and from mine own. Good times. ^^
And now, I've nothing much to do... 'Cept maybe play Nethack again, figure out how to Secure-Shell, and find out what version of Linux I want to install on the old computer upstairs.
And maybe start studying, too. At some point. Maybe. Eh...
"Ah, yes, good ol' freezing rain. Makes the roads hell - but also makes them interesting."
"Oh, yeah, you drive, right? Not so good..."
"Pfft, didn't ya hear what I said? INTERESTING! Sure, there's a greater probability of getting in a horrible burning accident when it's slippery, but it makes things fun!"
"...Er, I don't really think that's a sort of 'fun'..."
"Haven't you two figured it out by now that I'm often very chaotic? ^^"
"o.0 Kinda."
"0.o Yeah..."
"I mean, it might mean that I have a shorter lifespan than either of you - but even so! Things should be fun, hah!"
-Me, yesterday, talking to Nyan and Max. Eheh. ^^;;
