^^; Been watching too much of Rejected (or at least the BnG Freakadave version of it, anywhoo).
Gah. I dun wanna do my homework, even though I probably should. Pffft.
Been lazy and didn't blog on Friday when I should've. Went to a Welcome BBQ held by the CSSS that night, had tons of fun eating, meeting peoples, and making an ass out of myself. Then again, that's what we all were doing. ^^
Found out about the Gotcha game being hosted by the society... Basically entails the first-year computing science students to be Hunters, and members of the society and a few profs as Targets. Point o' the game is to find and hunt down (and soak with mini waterguns) said targets while at campus, hehe. Prizes at the end of the week for whoever racks up the most points - something about an MP3 player, I heard, so I'll have to give it a go. *devilish grin*
Also played a mini-golf-hockey-dodgeball game to get ourselves aquainted with the campus. We were split into groups of five, given a mini-hockey stick each, and a smallish dodgeball. Point of the game was to whack these balls around the campus until we reached the end of the 'hole'. My score ended up being 58 or something at the end of eight holes - under the par of 64, so I guess that isn't bad. ^^; Chasing balls of type-bounciness is difficult - especially when trying to get them into elevators and stairs and out of hedges and ankle-deep gardens. At least I didn't lose my ball down a staircase... One of the dudes in my group did, down a whole two flights. Took him forever to get back up again. XD
And the strange looks that we got from people as we chased down said balls was hilarious. ^^
Also found out that the CS students and the Engineering students have a rivalry - which I find quite funny, as I would've been an Eng. student had I not been accepted to the school o' CS, and my dad swears I have the mindset of an engineer. ^^; Him being one and all. Anywhoo - we apparently play pranks on one another, are supposed to target them with our guns even though they're technically not targets, and give them a hard time when they don't understand the discrete math homework. "C'mon, it's just like a lever!" XD
Aside from Friday, the weekend's been quite boring. Although I did find out fifteen minutes ago that my brother bought a fzcking ATARI and a whole stack of olllllld games from his girlfriend's brother. ^^; I dunno what he plans on doing with it... It's nuts, I tell you, NUTS! Ah well, that's about 25 more games to add to the ol' library...
Including the ET game, which is said by many to be the worst game in existance. It's even said there're 350,000 copies of it buried in a New Mexico landfill, as they didn't sell. XD Gotta love a game with a rep that bad.
Oh, and I've been crazy all night, too - Moonchaser's been having a field day 'greeting' a new wolf to the Good lands.
Moonchaser - Kyahahaha! PHEAR ME! PHHHHEEEAR ME! *laughs maniacly and pokes j00*
