Today started out crappy, ended fairly crappy, but was pretty good in between - and thankfully, that outweighs both the crappy parts, so the day wasn't a total waste.

Honestly, the people who drive on the #1 (that's the major highway that I commute back and forth on to school; connects pretty near all the cities in the Lower Mainland) are morons. There was a car that went into the ditch at Gaglardi early this morning - 6:00 am or somesuch. It blocked off traffic for a little while, but the mess was cleared out of the way and onto the side of the road before 7. I was driving on the highway at 7:50. I came across the Port Mann bridge - and came to a dead stop halfways through. Traffic was backed up horribly (and it's usually never backed up that horribly at that time of the morning), and all because every fucking moron who was driving on the highway had to stop and take a look at the fucking car in the ditch.
Gods. It's a car. In a ditch! Big deal, move on, people have places to go, you fecking morons...

Thus, I was twenty minutes late for class. Didn't turn out too badly, though - Goddyn hadn't even gotten through the mini-review on continuity before I got there.

Both classes passed by, pretty uneventfully. Reviews in both, y'see. And - tada! - my first semester of classes is done. Now there's only exams to worry about... My first, CMPT, is on Friday. XP Ugh.

After class, however, the fun began. Like always, hehe. Had amusing conversation with various people passing in and out of the common room - listening to the hilarious engineering antics of Hans and his drunken friends, for example, or debating that there should be a class to teach about the origins and usage of curses in different languages (and there should! XD) - and finding out about certain geeky baby-doll t-shirts that I have to get my hands on.
(Take a look at this site to see, LOL.)
Eventually decided to go get food, at some point. Dawdled around, got mah yummy chicken thing, and headed back towards the ASB. Arrived at the doors to such to find a flashing light, a bell ringing non-stop, and all six of the damned main doors closed off. Mmm, fire alarm goodness.
Found Travis and that friend o' his (I still haven't figured out his name XD) milling about the doors, too. The three o' us decided to go try the other door from the parking lots. Of course, by the time we got there, things were open and moving again, so we braved the cold for nothing, but... ^^;
Set the last box of donuts among the wolves for this semester, laughed as they disappeared in thirty seconds - again. ^^; Meeep.
Those of us on the second-squishiest couch (and then some) half-stole Trevor's laptop in order to watch three episodes of Clone High - the second one with the presidential elections, and the last two of the season (MAKEOVER!). We had four people crammed onto the couch, crowded around this laptop - plus a certain other balanced beside me on the arm of it - and all laughing gleefully at the utter craziness of said show. Wonderfulness. ^^
And, finally, once mostly everyone had wandered home, we had a moment in the room that, to our knowledge, has occured only very rarely.
The CSSS is primarily composed of males, and the common room, as such, is usually home to a majority of males. I think I'm one of the two active female first-years (compared to about 30 guys), and there are some others that drop by, but we're generally outnumbered by about six-to-one.
Today, there was a period of about fifteen minutes where the occupants of the room - meaning, people who are regularly there, not just people who come in to use the photocopier - were three guys, and FOUR gals.
It was the end of the world! We outnumbered THEM! XDDD
And we have pictures to prove it, too, LMAO! After we realized the fact had indeed occured, 'twas much pitied that we didn't have a camera around on which to record the event.
Guess who had a disposable one in her bag with a few exposures left on it? ^^ And Travis always tells me that I should clean said bag out more often! Never would've gotten that photo-op had I done so, hehe.
And then the fire alarm rang again. We ignored it until a hard-hatted lady came in to shoo us out. Bah, there was no smoke that we saw! XD

And then home I went, soon after - only to confront a very grumpy, assholish certain someone. *shakes fist* One of these days...
Thankfully, he stormed outside somewheres - after wishing me dead - and I could get ready for work in peace.

And I worked. And thus smell like donuts. Again. Nothing eventful there.

But now I'm quite exhausted, and thoroughly glad that there's no classes tomorrow... Although I might head up to school anyways to pick up an assignment tomorrow. Not until later, but meh.

So, I believe I shall head off... Sleep doth beckon. Sleeeeep... ^^

"So, you can say fucking, but you can't say cock? Shit, if you're going to swear, use the whole sentence."
"I'm just trying to protect the minors back there!"
"Minors? ...Fuck them! XD"
