I think my legs are dead...
Dec. 2nd, 2003 11:27 pmPretty uneventful day today. Didn't actually get started studying like I wanted to... But I've got all day tomorrow and Thursday for that. XD Yay for procrastination!
Slept in wonderfully in the morning, and didn't actually get moving around the house until after two. ^^; Thus, nothing exciting happened.
Did go out to the mall today, though - had to deposit some stuff into the bank (and now it actually looks like I have money! XD), and wanted to look around at some other stuff.
Which means that I ended up spending some of yonder deposited money and bought a DDR-Max2/dance-pad combo package, at long last, hehe. They had the dealie-package in at Electronics Boutique - the last one there! - so I decided to get it. Cheaper than buying the two things seperate. Thus, spent all evening wearing my legs out as I tried the songs. Some are good - Heaven's on there, which I never expected to see - and others are even better, and fiendishly hard. (Break Up being an example, hehe. Fun, but bouncy and too fast - I don't even wanna see the Heavy version of that song!)
Also got my eyebrows thinned out. >_> Waxing hurts muchly. Why is it that gals are willing to go through pain in order to look pretty? I mean, there were those hugely tightened corsets back in the day, and hairdos that need a full pound of pins and pulling and ouch to keep up, and waxing/sugaring/whatever to keep away unwanted hair...
Really, some day, I'd like to see a guy get a strip of hair removed by wax! Bawling like a baby, he'd be!
But they really do look better now. ^^;
Did better on my final Java assignment than I thought I did - the one that only worked for one entry in it. ^^; Got 89%, so I really can't complain too badly, and praise be to the gods of luck while I'm at it; whoever marked it must not have tested it for too many cases. XD
But there were two rather confusing events of the day... Well, moments of indecisiveness, anywhoo.
Number one being to do with my hair. It's quite long now, down to my waist, and the streaks have sorta grown out quite a bit. I debated going to have them re-done today while I was out, but it then struck me that maybe I'm in need of a complete overhaul in hairstyle. I've had my hair growing out long for the past... Well, for a long time. ^^; Last time I had it short was six years ago, and though I don't want it that short again - well, I think I almost want something different than plain ol' long and straight and boring.
But I can't think of exactly what I'd like to do with it! ^^; Maybe I'll just go in, sit myself down in front of Leena, and tell her do what she thinks best. She's the gal I usually get to do my colouring, and she did my hair for grad - really nice job with it, too. Hum...
The second is really quite stupid, and silly - but! *sigh* I need to go kick myself into the CSSS IRC channel at some point - but I can't bring myself to. I want to, and there's no reason why I shouldn't - except...
Well, it comes down to making an entrance at the right point in time, and I'm not particularly sure when that might be. ^^; Maybe tomorrow evening sometime... Too late to go in there now. Everyone who is sane is likely asleep.
...Then again, there are many who are not so sane in the CSSS. ^^;;; I didn't relate any of the stories about CRAP (the Common Room Advocates for Procrastination, website here) here, did I, LOL?
...Meh. I'm gonna go play a game of Nethack, and then go crash myself.
