Lost

I hate it when I can't find things. Right now, the pressing issue is paper. The paper on which I'd normally print this almost-daily piece of writing has already been used up in printing the massive pile of articles I have to read for my linguistics writing course. Normally I'd use a piece of slightly doodled-on scrap, but all I have around my desk seems to be scrap that is more than slightly doodled upon. My next choice'd then be lined paper – but lo and behold, guess what I can't find? It drives me mad, too, because I know I had three packets of the stuff lying around somewhere a year ago, and all three of them have vanished into the back end of beyond. Just to dispel any doubt, no, I haven't used the note paper up. It's just gone.

Perhaps there is a goblin that eats reams of paper, much like the goblin that eats socks from the dryer?

Either way, I have to find something to shove in the printer so I can print this lovely piece of writing out and have it handed in and such. This may require a bit of ingenuity. I could go for the back side of an article page, but then I'd be missing that page and probably the conclusion (although more likely just the references). Toilet paper and paper towel, I fear, wouldn't take the ink very well.

There must be something around here that would be suitable...

((I ended up finding a crumpled-up ball of paper that didn't have any markings on it, which was a little weird, but whatev. Also, tissue paper does not work.))

Hat part deux

I finished the cunning hat. It fits, and looks properly goofy - anyone wearing it looks like an idiot. But that's part of the awesome, no? And it's warm, too, which means it fits about all the criteria.

Also, the pompom was a thing of mystery to Trav, hehe.
