Aaaaaah T-1 week to figure out WTF to do with Midgard characters. Hopefully brain will not go boom by then.
I think I'll spend tomorrow writing up the Second Heaven apps, though. After I get back from my new job. (Easiest interview ever - Trav says over MSN that his dad needs someone to clean the offices out every weekend, I say sure, boom, I'm hired.) At least I'll finally have a bit of leeway in spending money.

Sigh. My last fish seems to also have succumbed to the swim-bladder malfunction. Not dead yet, but... Well, the others didn't last particularly long. I don't think he will, either. I'll have to empty out the tank and give it a good scrub after this, I suppose... And then figure out if I want to put anything in it, or just give it a rest for a bit.

My short-term memory is the worst thing ever. In the past week, I've managed to set the kettle on to boil probably, oh, fifteen times, and then completely forget about it. I'll usually have a craving for hot chocolate, put on the kettle, wander away to do something, and then (eventually) come back to find the water cold, only to set it on again, and the cycle repeats. If I did not have a kettle that had an automatic shut-off, who knows how many would have boiled dry and scorched by now. XD

*shuffles off to work more on layout, mwee*

Kettle never boiled dry enough to be damaged, thankfully. Plus it whistled, and was usually loud enough to be heard over gaming. It was a very sturdy kettle and served me well.

Now there's an auto-off electric where I am. Eh, it works.
I discovered a solution to the wandering off thing though!

Bring a gameboy to the kitchen with you! Set the kettle on, and then play the gameboy while waiting for it to boil!

Only 20 in the bank, and it's not even April? Ick, yeah. I've been there myself (though not in school). Actually, I'm always there My current job is too hard to do fulltime (heavy labour) and only pays $9, so i barely squeak by each month. Hence much looking forward to this new job.

The job is CSR/email support for online poker, answering customer email. Occaisional phone support as well, but it's rare. $14-16 depending on shift, benefits after 3 months, OT availiable, very nice looking place, and easy to get to (1 bus from New West station).

However, I believe they're looking for full time only, which doesn't work with school, obviously. Otherwise I'd totally tell you to go for it - they're looking to hire a lot.
