About a year ago, I wanted to get published, I had my little plot and whatnot. So I checked around and indeed, you don't get much. I found a lot of "you might get paid if your stuff sells but it has to sell A LOT".
But the moral rights thing was new. And I found it funny the way they worded it XD The whole French-so-you-don't-need-it thing *giggles* It was funny in a "are you fucking shitting me?" kinda way :P

I think the key is to get a good agent who knows how to interpret the bullshit, if you're wanting to get published.
