I just finished the story mode of one of said gifts, and... Were three whams in a row really necessary, Level 5? I would just finish wiping away tears and stifling sniffles and another would hit.

I don't cry at hardly anything (although both Chrono Trigger and Okami at parts get me a little bit teary - and I think the ending of Diabolical Box did, too?), but this was just kind of "howsabouts we hit you right there under the chin again, guvnah?".

It's been awhile since then, so I don't know if things have changed, but GRAH, WHY WHY WHY? =( I even played the first two PWAA games in anticipation! (and will get to the third eventually) Sadness abounds if it's true...
