Your comment redesign sucks balls. It's slow, the subject lines being relocated to comments is not helpful at all when looking at collapsed comments, it's slow, it's not any prettier or serves any design purpose, and it's slow.

I find a certain humour in this prompt.

Preach >=|

ESPECIALLY about the goddamn subjectlines oh my GOD.

Also the padding is different, so top level comments are further to the left than they used to be, so I keep reading second-tier comments as top-level comments. I miss the alternating shades of blue between comments because that really helped mentally organize a thread while you were reading it. And I feel like everything is too...clean. There is just too much whitespace now and I keep getting lost in it.

Yeeeeah. I'm hearing a lot of folks with disabilities who use the site are having pretty serious problems with everything now, too. :|

I understand some designers worship at the altar of whitespace, but, fuck, there is such a thing as too much of anything, guys.

Oh man, really? In what way has it suddenly become less accessible for them?

I guess I don't mind the "mouseover comments for options" thing too much, but that one bright blue <hr> at the bottom feels very necessary for me to separate the comments section from the sitemap.

The biggest is something about the way text to speech programs work, from what I've read. The new layout makes it hard for them to get information about navigation features - probably because of all those fancy hover features, I'm guessing.

I also don't like the new default font, but that's just me being pedantic.

Ooh why am I not surprised that LJ didn't take text-to-speech accessibility into consideration.

WHY IS THE SEARCHBOX CASE SENSITIVE

It's like staring into a great, yawning, white void.

Google's aesthetic sense only works because they fill their whitespace suitably.

I love them offering that prompt right after the new release. It's like they're trolling us.

I didn't even notice the change in subject lines. OMG, WTF!!!! :(

If you collect a lot of userpics, when you go to comment or reply to comment, all the little piccies have to load and most of us rely on the keywords to just scroll through quickly. UGH!
