Running out of titles again.
Jan. 6th, 2005 12:10 amWell, 'tis almost time to go back to school... Need ter pick up my books at some point, when I get the chance - I think my only days off this week are Friday and Saturday, possibly Sunday, and even they might be iffy. ^^;;
Friday's also Reema's last day... I hope whoever they hire turns out to be decent, 'cause otherwise things are going to be hell at work for a while. >.>
Had an amusing conversation with a phoenix/dragon on Furcadia today, about the type of crap 'RPers' wander around a certain dream. XD Seems that if you toss rare creatures into a pen and let them fester, no-one bothers to approach them, even though folks apparently love to try and 'own' said creatures.
Also listened to a few kitsune RPers while I was there, and had to forcibly stop myself from listening to them - ye gods, do they not know anything about the breed they play? Kitsune would rather die than let themselves be captured - and if anyone thinks that anyone short of an Asiastic dragon (who'd be more likely to kill the fox than capture it) could get a nine-tailed one behind a pen...
Really, folks need to do some research on their character before they attempt to credibly play it. >.>
The quiz DS that I wrote for AKP seems to have died somewhere in the process of me sending it to Aerin, and he passing it to Pae. >.> I sent her the true copy today. Apparently, it was looping the second and third questions repeatedly, infinitely. XD It didn't do that in any of the test cases, nor in the final version.
I'm not sure if Orihime's 'fairies' in Bleach 12 were actually trying to emulate bad shoujo anime, or just poking sly amounts of fun at such. XD If it was the latter - which I hope - it's subtle enough that even I'm having problems with it... And regardless of what some folks think, I do not have to be hit in the head with something to realize it's there!
Been a fairly boring couple of days, aside from the small details above... When I haven't been stressing out over work, I've been trying to relax with Furc. XD

I did see a shooting star the other eve... Just as I went to go peek out the window before bed, one decided to drop out of the sky right in front of me. ^^ I always take those as good omens.
It's been so long since I've seen the untouched night sky, though... One unpolluted by light. One of these days, I'm going to have to drive far away from civilization, find some huge field in the middle of nowhere, fling myself down, and watch the stars. Their winkingness is truly soothing, I find... But alas, far too hard to see, even here in quiet suburbia.
Ah well. It's supposed to snow tomorrow - that'll be soothing, too, if it actually occurs this time. XD
